Lazy as Goodbye

It was a lazy Sunday, you were going away, again.
The leaves were changing and you thought it would be a good time for leaving.
You call me up, I said what’s going on?
You said, I’m leaving.
Where you going?
Why you leaving…me, again?
I thought I told you, you can’t do this anymore.
If you wanted to be gone, you should have stayed away the first time.
You should have stayed gone.
But, now you’re back, and there isn't no changing that.
I know you’re scared, because you've never been hurt before.
You think leaving will save you from that heart ache.
But, I’m still the one here, you’re only hurting me.
Just give this a chance, a chance to be something more than a day in misery.
Now we may fight, we may curse, but baby were strong enough to get through all that trouble.
Look at me, feel this love.
Don’t be scared of tomorrow’s problems.
Because, today is today and tomorrow may never come.
Let’s live today.
Please just tell me one thing do you love me?
Do you want to be here with me?
Where you going?
Why you leaving me, again?
I thought I told you, you can’t do this again.
If you wanted to be gone, you should have stayed away the first time.
You should have stayed gone.
But, now you’re back, and there isn't no changing that.
You look at me, fear deep in your eyes.
My smile comforts you and brings hope to them.
Don’t worry, I say.
I won’t be leaving anytime soon baby.
You say me either.
I’m staying for good, this time.

Called to GO

I got that letter the other day accepting me and saying I’m good to go.
So I’ll pack up my belongings, pack away the memories, we’ve contributed too.
Because, I think I’ll take that opportunity, think I’ll start that journey.
Been wondering if I should tell you, what I’m feeling so.
Been wondering how you feel about me and about us.
Going to get in my car, roll down those dusty windows.
I know it will be hard but, I’m going to turn my back to this place, to you, if I have too.
I’ll be gone like yesterdays sunshine.
Hair whipping in my face.
Wind blowing through my ears.
Time rolling underneath my wheels.
I got to get away, away from this place.
I got to take that chance, got to take that risk.
Got to go somewhere, going to be somebody.
So, I’m going to go. Yeah, I’m going to go…
Will you cry, will there be tears in your eyes?
Will you miss me, will you kiss me, goodbye?
Will you shout to me, will you scream for me?
Were you planning on yelling my way, honey?
Honey, Please, Don’t GO! I need you, so much, it kills me inside.
So what’ll it be…be, be?
You going to follow me or just let me go…
I’ll take you with me if you want too, go.
Grab my hand; take the seat next to me.
Hair whipping in my face.
Wind blowing through my ears.
Time rolling underneath my wheels.
I got to get away, away from this place.
I got to take that chance, got to take that risk.
Got to go somewhere, going to be somebody.
So, I’m going to go. Yeah, I’m going to go…
As I drive away, my heart starts to fluster.
You didn’t show up to my going away parade.
Don’t you like me, like I liked you?
Maybe it could have been love.
Maybe it could have been something real for once.
I guess things change and you never wanted me the same way.
I won’t be seeing you around, so goodbye, I wave.
Hair whipping in my face.
Wind blowing through my ears.
Time rolling underneath my wheels.
I got to get away, away from this place.
I got to take that chance, got to take that risk.
Got to go somewhere, going to be somebody.
So, I’m going to go. Yeah, I’m going to go…
Guess it’s time to say so long, I take one last look around for you.
Hey is that you?
My bags are packed, yours are too.
I see you standing there, next to our departing ledge.
You’re wearing that smile that leaves me breathless.

I reach for you, guess this is hello.

The Morning Cocoa

The morning was brisk. Next door neighbors making a commotion about finances and lack there of. They ruled the block with their awful stares.
We had become inferior in this couple's eyes.

We were if not put aside as someone else's idea of fortune.

We had the funds but not the manner, the polite expression, but neglecting the whispers of back stabing.
I was aware I came across as ordinary.

I splashed when pushed off limits. There was a point one is not allowed to return from.

Beyond that you were succumbed to no doubt, nor the knowledge of power or intellect.

Our circumference of attitude towards these individuals, are as followed; firstly we ignore the bajesusers out of them, second and most important we dominate them by ruling the PTA meetings.

They scream out numbers on bills as I quietly sip my hot cocoa and stare carelessly into another world, that I don't seem to understand.

I shrug and wash the growing worry upon my face, their solutions are not my problems and via versus.

I let out a sigh because I find out within myself is where the universe really begins.
